Vehicle Reminders

Never miss MOT, tax or insurance again.

Add a vehicle, we pull MOT and tax expiry from DVSA, and you get email reminders at 60, 30 and 7 days before each one expires. Insurance and service-due dates work the same way once you log them.

For anyone who's ever found out their MOT expired last week. Especially useful for households with multiple vehicles, classics on SORN, or small fleets.

What you get out of the box.

DVLA + DVSA on autopilot
Type in a registration. We fetch make, model, year, colour, MOT expiry and tax status from DVLA and DVSA. No data entry, no copy-paste from gov.uk.
60, 30 and 7-day alerts
Three windows by default for every expiry. Configurable per user or per org if you want different cadences for fleet vehicles vs personal ones.
MOT, tax, insurance, service
MOT and tax come from DVLA. Insurance renewal and service-due you log once and we track from there. All four feed the same reminder engine.
Acknowledge to dismiss
Reminded too early? One click to dismiss. We won't pester you again until the next window opens. Acknowledged reminders show up in the audit log so a fleet manager can see who saw what.
Email + dashboard digest
Daily digest email when there's something due, plus a banner on the dashboard for anything urgent. Your inbox isn't a graveyard.
Org-wide or per-user
Multi-user orgs can set a single reminder cadence for everyone, or let each user override their own. Reminders go to whoever's listed as the vehicle owner.

Common questions

Where does the MOT and tax data come from?

DVLA and DVSA's public APIs. We refresh on demand (you can hit a 'refresh' button on any vehicle) and on a daily schedule, so a freshly renewed MOT shows up the next day without you having to update anything.

Can I change the reminder windows?

Yes. The default is 60/30/7 days. You can set any combination of integers between 1 and 365 days, either per user or as an organisation default. Useful for fleet operations who want a 90-day pre-alert for parts ordering, or for SORN classics that don't need MOT reminders at all.

Will I get spammed?

No. One digest per day when there's something due, nothing on quiet days. Acknowledge a reminder and it stops bothering you for that expiry window. We also fully respect GDPR notification consent, you can unsubscribe with one click.
